BEAT-LAB THE 808 — Terms of Service

Welcome to BEAT-LAB THE 808 ("the Platform", "we", "us"). By creating an account, downloading the BEAT-LAB VST plugin, or subscribing to any plan, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Eligibility & Account

You must be at least 13 years old to use the Platform. You are responsible for keeping your credentials secure. You may not share, resell, or transfer access to your account.

2. Subscriptions & Billing

All subscription prices are charged in USD via Square.

Subscriptions renew monthly unless canceled.

You can cancel anytime from your dashboard — access continues until the end of the paid period.

All sales are final; we do not offer prorated refunds for partial months unless required by law.

3. License Grant

BEAT-LAB grants you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the plugin and its presets, sound packs, and AI tools for both personal and commercial music production, **provided your subscription is active**.

**Standard / Intermediate plans:** royalty-free commercial use of generated audio.

**Pro plan:** royalty-free commercial use + marketplace selling rights.

You may NOT redistribute, decompile, or reverse-engineer the plugin or its presets.

You may NOT use the AI preset generator to create training datasets for competing products.

4. AI-Generated Content

Presets generated by our AI engine are licensed to you under the same terms as factory presets while your subscription is active. Prompt history may be used in aggregate (never personally) to improve the engine.

5. Marketplace (Pro only)

Pro subscribers can list presets and sound packs for sale. BEAT-LAB takes a 20% platform fee; 80% goes to the creator. Creators are responsible for ensuring all uploaded content is original.

6. Anti-Piracy

License keys are tied to your account and may be activated on up to 3 devices.

We employ device fingerprinting and detect suspicious login patterns. Suspected piracy will result in immediate account suspension.

Two-factor authentication is available for all accounts and required for admin roles.

7. Content & Conduct

You agree not to upload, share, or use the Platform for:

Hateful, harassing, or illegal content

Copyrighted material you do not own

Spam, scams, or off-platform solicitation

We may remove content or suspend accounts at our discretion.

8. Privacy

We store your email, producer name, encrypted password, Square customer ID, preset library, and usage analytics. Card data is tokenized by Square and never touches our servers.

9. Service Availability

We strive for 99.9% uptime but make no guarantees. Scheduled maintenance will be announced in advance.

10. DAW Compatibility

The plugin supports VST3, VST2, and AU on Windows 10/11 and macOS 11+. We officially test against FL Studio, Ableton Live, Logic Pro, Pro Tools, Studio One, Bitwig, Cubase, and Reaper.

11. Termination

Either party may terminate at any time. Upon termination, your access to active subscriptions ends and your presets remain in your library for 90 days.

12. Limitation of Liability

The Platform is provided "as is". We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including lost profits or audio session data.

13. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms; material changes will be emailed to active subscribers.
